Hat Fair Street PianosThis is one of my posters for the Street Piano project I organised for Hat Fair with the help of Emmaus. | The peoples stageI organised the first peoples stage for HatFair and called in Spinney Hollow to set up the fabulous stage. It is a shame it was for only one day as there was spontaneous applause in the back streets of Winchester as all ages sounded out their tunes. |
Creative Hub PosterI have spent 12 years running street art workshops with young people, we have worked on exhibitions, T-shirts and murals. I have worked with youth groups, young carers, young offenders, colleges, schools, parties and events. The idea of a big party with workshops came from talking to young people sitting on the streets. I co organised this event, based in the young people's ideas, which reached over 1000 young people who had no facilities in the area. It remains something I am very proud of as it proved that youth in this area could be positive, creative and responsible.
